Inspired by my son Nolan who was sitting on the couch playing that opening rif on guitar. I said "Hey, that's a song, I can hear it!" I insisted we write a song together. He said, "You're blocking the TV!" He wasn't into it, so I took a moment and wrote the song from his perspective. Thanks Nolan!
