Lisa, I love your playlist you have on your website. What a great way to let everyone hear your sweet music. I listen to it at work when I just need to get away from the every day office gossip.

It's just too bad my Doctor's Orders is not allowed at work, LOL

Lisa
You found me on facebook, so I landed here to accept your friend request. I really love the style of music you sing! My son is in his 11th year of cello study, so he went to the Mark O'Connor summer camps for about 5 years and I heard a lot of this kind of violin. Your voice is perfect for this. Do you know that song from the Brokeback Mountain soundtrack, No One's Gonna Love You Like Me sung by Mary McBride? And since you did a children's album, do you know Philadelphia Chickens? What an inspiration that one is!

Anyway, I wish you all the best with your music.
Yours in the blues

You would be smiling to hear my class right now -- they're all singing your songs. All together now "in this windy old weather, stormy old weather, when the wind blows, we'll all sail together' -- all while making Eric Carle butterflies. :)

Lisa:
I was introduced to your music through Tod Burge when he asked to play clarinet on the instrumental tracks.. I really enjoyed listening to your vocal versions of the songs as well as recording the instrumental tracks. I hope you like the results. Please keep me in mind for future projects. I double on various saxophones & flute. I hope to hear you perform live in the near future.

Had the pleasure tonight to hear Lisa for the first time at a private art show. What a talent. I couldn't believe the range of her singing voice. Add that to her songs and well I was in transported.... I fell in love with the song "Hey There" which is also the new title of her next CD coming out in October. Looking forward to hearing that song again.

So hope that you will start touring in Virginia. Can't wait till our paths cross again. You have a new fan!

My claim to fame: I was Lisa's original drummer (after her brother). Surfin' the web and found my way on to your site! I thought it was tough for us to get together when we both lived in Ohio, but wow it is even harder with me in California! Maybe someday your touring will take you out this way. Keep on singing!

Congrats to your new CD!! I also listened to some songs in your new CD and I love your singing! You sang in differently ways in your recent two albums (Chasing the Blues and Come to me). Your singing always calms me down and warms my heart. In your recent two albums, I
found that you added more "flavors" in your singing/voice: powerful, strong, wholehearted, direct,
honest, wisdom (realizing/understanding life)...etc
are words I think of when I was listening to your songs. There is something in your voice/singing that gets into the inner part of me.

Lisa,
Your performance inspired me magically. I am blessed to have seen you play beautifully upon your marvelous instrument. I hope to see you once more. My soul was "taken over" many times than once hearing you play. Your voice rings as the heavens do. I am a college student @ WSU. I came to see you to write a paper about you. I am also a musician, far from as well as you play. In hopes that I will be with time.
Again, I am truly happy you made me welcome. Thank you. Maybe we will meet again.

Lisa
